Acta Asiatica Varsoviensia (AAV) is an annual research journal from the Institute of Non-European Countries and since September 2010 - from the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences. AAV is a research journal where are published scientific texts in the field of humanities and social sciences, particularly in such disciplines as cultural studies and religious studies. Among the polish and foreign authors, there are scholars with extensive experience and persons who are starting an academic career. AAV published scientific articles and reviews in English. 32 issues were published till 2020.

The journal is indexed in several international reference databases, including CEJSH, DOAJ, EBSCO, ERIH Plus, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus.
